Is it time to tear up the tile? Let’s talk Bathroom renovation!

It’s an understated room that is seen mainly by you but can be seen by others….the bathroom. Otherwise known as the powder room, primary bath or shared bathroom.

It’s not a romantic room design to discuss but it really shouldn’t be ignored in my opinion. We happen to love brainstorming unique designs for bathroom renovations because it gives us the opportunity to use tiles that add color, dimension and pattern. Believe me, there are so many tile options to choose from it could make your head spin and this is exactly why my clients hire me! And, I’m more than happy to take on that project.

After our research we put together mood boards to present different options to our clients. Here are some examples of mood boards we’ve worked on recently:

Whether you’re working with bold colors or neutrals, you always have an opportunity to add in texture and pattern with tiles for your backsplash, shower and floors. We’ve continued to see the use of brass fixtures, pulls and faucets in bathroom as well as kitchen renovations and we really love this trend.

Now for the fun stuff! Here are some of my favorite bathroom projects ranging from primary baths to powder rooms:

Built in nooks to hold shampoo and soaps are made to enhance the tile.

This master bath comes complete with one of my custom rug designs.

Powder rooms with pizzazz! Fun wallpaper adding character to a small space.

Never underestimate the value of a well designed powder room, primary bath or shared bathroom. Not only does it add value to your home, it can create a beautiful space for you to spend some quiet time.
